MISSION TRIP:  The church is sponsoring a mission team to Teamwork City of Hope in Ntgactha, Tanzania, from April 8 to April 29, 2017.  City of Hope is a Christian based orphanage, children's school, and medical center serving the rural areas of northwest Tanzania near Lake Victoria and the border with Kenya.  There are plenty of ways to help make a difference in these children's lives, from general carpentry work, working the farm (the farm provides around 75 percent of the food for The City of Hope), working in the medical center, and maintenance work.  They are opening a new secondary school in February that still needs work.  But the best gift anyone can do for these orphans is to show up in person and love on them.  We know it isn't easy for most people to take three weeks off in a row, but if you can and are interested, talk to Greg (757-377-1866) or Kathy Moyer, or Curtis or Ann Tasker.  Other support is welcome for fundraisers and donations.  To see more of what Teamwork City of Hope is all about visit www.teamworkcityofhope.com.

New Pew Seat Upholstery, Seat Back Cushions, and new Communion kneeling cushions:   Work will begin the week of March 20th.  Thank you for your generous donations.

Wesleyan Covenant Association: We have been asked to provide information about the newly formed Wesleyan Covenant Association.  Information about this association is available on the table in the Welcome Center.

Praise Songs:                  SWEET, SWEET SPIRIT

There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place, and I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord.  There are sweet expressions on each face, and I know that it’s the presence of the Lord.

Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly Dove, stay right here with us, filling us with Your love.  And, for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise.  Without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived when we shall leave this place.

COME, HOLY SPIRIT

Come, Holy Spirit, I need You.  Come, sweet Spirit, I pray.  Come in Your strength and Your power.  Come in Your own gentle way.  Come, Holy Spirit, I need You.  Come, sweet Spirit, I pray.  Come in Your strength and Your power.  Come in Your own gentle way.
