MISSION TRIP:  The church is sponsoring a mission team to Teamwork City of Hope in Ntgactha, Tanzania, from April 8 to April 29, 2017.  City of Hope is a Christian based orphanage, children's school, and medical center serving the rural areas of northwest Tanzania near Lake Victoria and the border with Kenya.  There are plenty of ways to help make a difference in these children's lives, from general carpentry work, working the farm (the farm provides around 75 percent of the food for The City of Hope), working in the medical center, and maintenance work.  They are opening a new secondary school in February that still needs work.  But the best gift anyone can do for these orphans is to show up in person and love on them.  To see more of what Teamwork City of Hope is all about visit

Wesleyan Covenant Association: We have been asked to provide information about the newly formed Wesleyan Covenant Association.  Information about this association is available on the table in the Welcome Center.

Youth Mission Trip: July 30- August 4th, Raleigh, NC, the cost is $650.00 per person, Ages 11- 18 are welcome to join us, we have 8 slots available.  If you would like to go with us to Raleigh or you want more information, please contact Ginny Owens 757-621-8135, Andy Barnard 757-235-1989 or email us at  We have Participant Informational and Release forms for those interested.

Mission Trip Parents Meeting:  Sunday, April 2nd, at 5 pm, we will have a Parents Meeting in the Fellowship Center.

Something amazing is happening this year: Angie Smith is going to be at London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach for a women's conference on May 5 & 6! Praise Songs:                    SHINE, JESUS SHINE

Lord, the light of Your love is shining, in the midst of the darkness shining.  Jesus, Light of the world, shine upon us, set us free by the truth You now bring us.  Shine on me.  Shine on me.

Shine, Jesus, shine, fill this land with the Father’s glory.  Blaze, Spirit, blaze, set our hearts on fire.  Flow, river, flow, flood the nations with grace and mercy.  Send forth Your word, Lord, and let there be light.

Lord, I come to Your awesome presence, from the shadows into Your radiance.  By the blood I may enter Your brightness.  Search me, try me, consume all my darkness.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, Sing unto the Lord all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, Sing unto the Lord all the earth.

For God is great and greatly to be praised.  God is great and greatly to be praised!

O Sing unto the Lord a new song, Sing unto the Lord all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, Sing unto the Lord all the earth.
